The Police Telecommunication Office (hereinafter referred to as PTO) have a director who is charge of the overall affairs of the PTO, a vice-director who assists the director, and nine technician specialists.

To perform its business, several units are established as follows :

1. four sections : first section , second section, third section, and fourth section;
2. four offices : secretariat office, personnel office, internal affairs office, and accounting office;
3. ten branches : Taipei branch, Hsinchu branch, Taichung branch, Tainan branch, Kaohsiung branch, Nantou branch, Ilan branch, Hualien branch, Taitung branch, and Penghu branch;
4. twelve relay stations : Wanshen relay station, Taipei relay station, Hsinchu relay station, Taichung relay station, Nantou relay station, Fungming relay station, Tainan relay station, Kaohsiung relay station, Chungliao relay station, Ilan relay station, Hualien relay station, and Taitung relay station.
